The Tufts Biomedical Sciences Master's Program is an academic enhancer—a special master's degree that prepares students for entrance into Medical School (MD), School of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or Dental School (DMD).
Our core curriculum has 13 required courses, 10 of which are identical to—or closely modeled on—Tufts University School of Medicine's MD courses. The Tufts MBS program is designed for students to demonstrate success in the rigorous science courses necessary to excel in medical or dental school.

TUFTS LINKAGE
Tufts University School of Medicine MD Program
MBS students who complete their coursework with a 3.7 or higher GPA and receive at least 510 on their MCAT are guaranteed an interview for Tufts School of Medicine's MD program. There's no limit to the number of interviews—all qualifying students who would like to interview are guaranteed a spot.
On average, 30 students per year matriculate from Tufts MBS program into the MD program.
