The Tufts Biomedical Sciences Master's Program is an academic enhancer—a special master's degree that prepares students for entrance into Medical School (MD), School of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or Dental School (DMD).
Our core curriculum has 13 required courses, 10 of which are identical to—or closely modeled on—Tufts University School of Medicine's MD courses. The Tufts MBS program is designed for students to demonstrate success in the rigorous science courses necessary to excel in medical or dental school.

Streamlined Path to Tufts MD and DMD Programs
Our MBS program offers a direct pathway to Tufts' medical and dental schools, reducing stress and highlighting the excellence of our students.
There's no limit to the number of interviews—all qualifying students who would like to interview are guaranteed a spot.
Interview Linkage with Tufts MD:
- Minimum 3.70 GPA in MBS coursework
- MCAT score of 510 or higher
Interview Linkage with Tufts DMD:
- Minimum 3.20 GPA in MBS coursework
